Sales

Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborates the development and implementation of sales plans to achieve corporate goals
  • Develop sales forecasting and set performance goals accordingly
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients
  • Meet with key clients, maintaining relationships to aid in negotiations and closing deals
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales
  • Assist in the formulation and the delivery of sales training materials and efforts
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
  • Develop and maintain current lumber/timber/industry knowledge

  • Exceptional organizational, time management and multitasking skills
  • Driven and results oriented, drives business development, KPIs, and market expansion to meet corporate targets
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of building materials industry
  • 3 years of industry sales experience with consultative selling technique

 

This is a full-time position. Commission-based compensation package with base salary.

AP/AR & Billing Coordinator

Location: Sparrows Point, MD

We have multiple openings for accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing/reconciliations, must be a team player who is responsible for the general staff accounting duties according to established procedures or as directed by our accounting manager. This is an entry/mid-level position within our accounting department.

Qualifications:
  • Manage and perform GL postings
  • Manage and perform AP processing
  • Manage and perform AR reconciliations
  • Pay attention to detail, prioritize work assignments
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and financial data

Atlantic Forest Products currently have full-time Forklift/warehouse worker positions opening. Candidates must be self-motivated, able to work independently and work as a team. Must be dependable and communicate with management and be able to follow instructions. Assignments will be given daily. This position will require you to work in the elements.

Applicant Requirements:
  • Lift products – variety of weights
  • Drive a forklift
  • Use a chainsaw
  • Calculate measurements using a tape measure
  • Pull products from units for customer orders in a timely manner
  • 3 year’s experience
  • Drug screen is required

Forklift/Warehouse Worker

Location: Stockton, CA

Atlantic Forest Products is a dynamic and growing national wholesale distributor of Commodity Lumber and Plywood, Engineered Wood Products, and Specialty Building Products. We purchase products from the producing Mills in the USA, Canada, and Import Products from South America and Europe.

Our newest Distribution Center is located at the Port of Stockton, California. To accommodate our growth, we are looking for reliable, hard-working warehouse personnel in our Stockton, CA location.

General duties and responsibilities include:
  • Safe and Efficient forklift operation includes Receiving Inbound products and then Loading Outbound Orders.
  • Completes accurate Stock Receiver and Outbound Shipping Paperwork and submits to Office for order processing.
  • Stores products in a neat and organized manner.
  • Participates in regularly scheduled Physical Inventory
  • Cuts (chain saw) and Packages (assembles) jobsite orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Works productively individually as well as part of a team in order to meet customer order requirements.
  • Adheres to all company Safety initiatives and requirements.
  • Participates in Continuous improvement as a part of our Operations Team.

 

This is a hands-on, physical position, working Inside the Warehouse as well as Outdoors at our very busy 8-acre Distribution Center.

Monday through Friday, 1st shift hours approximately 6 am to 3 pm, with OT as required.

Experience is preferred but will train the right individual.

Bi-lingual (Spanish) is highly desirable.

Atlantic Forest Products currently has a full time Driver position opening. Candidates must be self-motivated, and work as a team, CLD required, must be dependable, assignments will be given daily.

Qualifications/Skills
  • Flatbed experience required
  • Multi stop load experience preferred
  • Keep truck clean and orderly
  • Complete Pre and Post trip inspection of truck and trailer
  • Plan route before leaving
  • Assist in loading process by directing where to place units on trailer
  • Strap down loads
  • Present a professional appearance and attitude at customer’s locations
  • Assist in unloading process by directing which units are to be unloaded
  • Report any issues with material being delivered or missing to supervisor
  • Maintain Safety standards
