Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Sparrows Point, MD

The Inventory Control Specialist oversees the storage and distribution of physical inventory to ensure accuracy. This position is primarily responsible for the scheduling and execution of physical inventories across the country, coordinating with suppliers as needed and communicating with the in-house team. This position requires travel (75%) across the country to perform physical counts at various locations, as well as mange damaged and dead stock.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience with inventory management is preferred. Experience in the building materials industry is highly preferred
  • Must be a team player and interact with multiple departments throughout the corporation
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and highly proficient with Excel
  • Availability to travel via personal vehicle is required
Responsibilities:
  • Reviews and ensures physical inventories are planned and executed.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with facilities management.
  • Identifies damaged and slow-moving inventory at various locations.
  • Works closely with Senior Management and Field Management to ensure all locations are adhering to company standards.

 

Compensation: $45K – $60K

Forklift Driver

Location: Stockton CA
Atlantic Forest Products, LLC currently have full-time Forklift Driver position openings. Candidates must be self-motivated, able to work independently and work as a team. Must be dependable and communicate with management and be able to follow instructions. Assignments will be given daily. This position will require you to work in the elements (outside most of the day).

General duties and responsibilities include:
  • Unloading rail cars at the warehouse docks
  • Participate in regularly scheduled Physical Inventory counts
  • Responsible for cutting wood products, using a chainsaw
  • Calculate measurements using a tape measure
  • Pull products from units for customer orders in a timely manner
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • 2 years’ experience preferred- training will be given
  • Drug screen is required

This is a full-time position. Commission-based compensation package with base salary.
